From Jordan's Crusader forts to the world's oldest pyramid, this tour is a virtual time machine catapulting you on through history with each and every visit. Tour Pace: Your days in Jordan and Cairo are packed with interesting visits that require a bit of walking, but well worth the effort. Egypt & Jordan (Winter 2012/13)

Day 1 DEPART CANADA

Board your overnight flight (not included).

Day 2 AMMAN AT LEISURE

You are met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception with drink and a light meal.(Welcome Reception)

Day 3 AMMAN - JERASH - PETRA

Tour the Greco-Roman city of Jerash. Return to Amman for a city tour. Continue south to Petra.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 4 PETRA SIGHTSEEING

Sightseeing takes you through the Siq to visit the lost city.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 5 PETRA - AMMAN

Visit the crusader fortress of Shobak. Continue to Mt Nebo and visit the mosaic map in Madaba.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 AMMAN - CAIRO

Board your flight to Egypt where you are met and transferred to your Cairo hotel.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 7 CAIRO SIGHTSEEING

Visit Tutankhamun’s treasure at the Egyptian Museum. Visit the the Citadel and Alabaster Mosque. Pyramids Sound & Light Show.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 8 CAIRO - LUXOR - JOIN CRUISE

Fly to Luxor and board your cruise. Visit Luxor Temple and nearby Karnak.(Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 9 Day 11 - ON BOARD SHIP

During your cruise enjoy a West Bank excursion to the Temple of Hatshepsut and Valley of the Kings. Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu and Kom Ombo temple complex. Aswan sightseeing includes the High Dam, unfinished obelisk, Philae Island temple complex and a sail on a felucca. Enjoy high tea in English colonial style. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served on board daily plus enjoy a fun galabeya party and dinner.(Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Highlight Dinner)

Day 12 ASWAN - CAIRO
